They were round numbers to demonstrate the comfort of the seat.  From my house (14 miles from Porto) to Faro.  362 miles in 5h15.
I was heavy and with a bad aerodinamic.

At least that's nearer to reality requiring an average of 72 mph including one fuel stop but no comfort breaks and no refreshment breaks.

Yes, I stopped only to put fuel, twice. At that speed, you need to refuel 2 times.
In normal use, it is 4,9L/100 Kms. But in that trip it was 6,8.
I put the cruise control at 160 Kms/h.

Wait. I refuel 3 times. The last one was to not have to refuel during the 5 days of the Concentration.

I was heavy, with a bad aerodinamic.

I test rode the bike with and without the comfort seat and bought the comfort seat when I got my bike and glad I did. After more than 6500 miles it is certainly comfortable and I would recommend it

Where did you get the cycling pants from?

Seriously?  So you buy a motorcycle that costs around 15000 euros, and to solve the "problem" of the normal seat is hard, wearing cycling pants?  Seriously?  One thing is for sure, you don't live in Portugal.  If you lived in Portugal, Spain, Italy or Greece, yoi would never have this idea.  If you don't want to spend money (on the highly recommended) Honda confort seat, there are specialized companies that put gel (actually silicone) on the current seat, making it much more comfortable.  Don't get me wrong, but it doesn't make sense to solve this problem that way.
By the way, do you wear motorcycle clothes?  Is it that with that on, you can fit inside the pants?

Got the comfort seat for rider and passenger from the very beginning - never regret it. The most comfy mc seat I ever experienced.
