So D Mode, much maligned starting state of our NTs. You know what, its fine.
I got on my bike today for my commute to work, grinding through traffic 20 zones, and other fun stuff.
I try to warm the bike up a bit before caning it, so leave it in D till there is a bit of warmth in the engine.
On my commutes it stays in D, I'm busy with the traffic, so don't spend time analysing the gear changes, I cant hear it changing with my earplugs in, its not particularly lumpy with the chain adjusted, Its fine, not sporty hanging on to the revs but for shitty commuting its fine. leave it in D let the bike get on with stuff. ( it would be nice to tie modes in with Rain and Urban etc or just have the bike remember the last setting) That's why I got an auto after all...
