Good Evening, from Invercargill, New Zealand

By way of introduction, I'm Andy George, and traded an Indian FTR1200s in on a Honda NT1100, because the NT does everything I wanted to do on a bike.  FTR is a really really (really) good bike, but it's a 1203cc lunatic motorbike, with a 13 litre tank, so Distance work to and from Motorbike Rallys required a fuel station every 120 kms

In rolls the NT1100, its comfortable, its well behaved, its got the 270ยบ rumble to the engine, and its got a 20 litre fuel tank!  Yus!!

Only got 400 kms on it thus far, waiting for the spring weather to calm down, but the first ride I put on it, I ran out of fuel!  SO good...

In saying that, I have a few questions, largely to do with aftermarket exhausts, and re-educating the DCT, I'll put them in other parts of the forum...

    Kia ora whanau!  (Hello family)

Morning Rhedegydd, and  :401: to the forum, in my opinion, and it is only my opinion, you have deffo got the best gear box with the DCT.
If you reached 400k/248m that pretty good going on a tank full, you will go further when it's run in some more.
As Smith42 says, D mode is as boring as hell, getting into 6th at around 33/35 MPH.
Its a great bike for distance riding and very enjoyable around the twisty roads of North Wales, about 30mins ride from me.

Enjoy the smiles as the miles grow Rhedegydd.
