This topic is not new but moderator suggested.
Has anything new been found to turn off the front indicators as daytime running lights.
I find them very distracting and probably dangerous.
Honda factory must have a fix.
I'm going to grill my Registrar of M.V. to determine if it's illegal as well.

    Hello.
George50 asked if there was any way to switch off the "always-on" feature on our front indicators. He wants the front indicators to be indicators only - not a combined amber running light/indicator.

BMW bikes also have their front indicators on all the time and they have a solution! Just plug a module in each front indicator lead. This module stops the always-on electricity reaching the indicator but allows the flashing electricity through. Wow.

How long will we have to wait for a Honda version? I will try to find out.
Any electricians out there who can work out what's going on in these modules? Anything we can duplicate cheaply at home?

In the video it also describes BMW's crazy rear lights. The rear indicators have THREE functions. They are indicators, rear lights and brake lights. Thank goodness we don't have that on our NT!

    Hi Stoke  NT ,
My dealer (in Adelaide Sth .Australia ) has no influence with Honda nor would anyone but government regulators,  and my compaints there went as expected. The real solution would be a simple software alteration in the ecu if Honda would allow access. Perhaps someone knows a good hacker  ?
