Okay, so I remembered today I was suposed to be looking out for this.
Engine not running (not started), cutout in off, I can hear this too (after the pump had run and other clickity pops had finished).
I does sound like a microswitch click or relay operating, I can also hear what sounds like the throttle motor (but is it a true stepper motor?) as I wind open the throttle more.
This surprises me in as:
(1) my engine switch was in cut-off (I expected the whole PGM-FI to be disabled and certainly not up for operating the throttle)
(2) there isn't a 'throttle off' switch shown (I expect the system uses TPS at zero) so is this the mechanical stop I can hear clicking ?
As I hadn't noted it before, I do think it is 'normal operation' and nothing to be done here.
Aside, I see the TPS is shown as a 4-wire element - is this the beyond zero to signal cruise off (I thought that was the GP sensor's job) ?
