    Over the last year or so these are Honda's impressions of what the NT might look like. I like the gold forks. And the stripes. And we nearly got an NT1000V with a v twin engine and a shaft drive - a big Deauville!

    Am I allowed to say the Deauville version looks seriously uncomfortable and pug-ugly? IMHO of course. The shaft would have been nice, but I suppose it would have eaten up a few bhp and/or increased fuel consumption.

    On balance I'm happy with the way it ended up.  :002:
